Mexico will be again the host of the 15th International Symposium on Quality Function Deployment. The Symposium will be held from October 20 to 23 of 2009 at Monterrey Tech (ITESM) in Monterrey, N.L.

This will be the first time than a country besides from Japan and the US hosts an International Symposium on QFD for a second time.

QFD is not new to our country. Since long ago, Mexicans have traveled to Japan and to the United States to study the true QFD right from the original sources and in 2004, Monterrey Mexico was host of the 10th International Symposium on QFD for the first time.

This year’s Symposium will have the following objectives:

  1. Promote the importance of acknowledging the real Voice of the Customer by understanding and acting according its needs.
  2. Provide a forum for the presentation of world-class solutions to products and services design problems at different competitive environments.
  3. Make QFD knowledge and best practices accessible for the Latin American region.

We know that all presentation will deliver a special value for all attendees, so we will be honored to receive the ISQFD community once more.
